CHRIS DO: BL:ND's President & Chief Creative Officer.
Chris Do is responsible for the firm's overall strategic & design direction. A graduate of Art Center, Chris worked as an Art Director at Cole & Weber in Seattle on the Westin Hotel and SGI account before returning to Southern California to form BL:ND in 1995 with partner Jessie Huang.Chris work has been featured in the annuals for the Type Director's Club, the Art Director's Club, Communication Arts, British D&AD, International Design, BDA and Print Design, as well as numerous magazines and books such as Res, Upload, Shoot, Adweek, How, Graphic Design USA, 72 dpi, E-Project, Motion Graphics: Film&TV, DesignNet and Boards.In addition to his creative duties, he continues to teach Motion Graphics at Pasadena Art Center College of Design & Otis College of Desgin in Los Angeles.

MAX WEINTRAUB
Born in Hawaii between Japanese and American parents, Max has spent half of his life in Kyoto Japan and the other half in the USA. Fluent in both Japanese and English, he has a good understanding of both Cultures.Max attended California Institute of the Arts, majoring in Character animation where he learned the traditional methods and techniques used in hand drawn animation. His interest in animation expanded to include motion graphics and experimental animation in his works.Always experimenting with new styles, he has directed several music videos for Sony Music Japan including the Band KOINU, for which he has created 4 videos for. Each video was animated in different mediums (charcoal, ink, oil pastel, and enhanced digitally). The music video INUVEGAS was awarded the viewers choice EDGE award on Space Shower TV in Japan on Jan '04.Specializing in rhythmic motion and dance, he has also created station ID animations for Space Shower TV, and designed websites for small studios and Sony's Japan For sale CD series. In '01, Max's character design DJ Sukiracchi received the Wieden+Kennedy Award at CHARAMIX.com Virtual Talent Audition sponsored by the Japan Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival.He has also participated in making the playstation game Umjammer Lammy, the sequel to Parappa the Rapper, and interned at Pixar animation studios while a student.

ERIK BUTH
Born and raised in America's Dairyland , Erik attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he majored in Film & Television. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in the summer of 1994, Erik moved to Los Angeles and found work as an editor and producer of indie film trailers. After a few years, Erik went freelance and worked on a broad range of design and editorial projects such as the "Saving Private Ryan" theatrical trailer and main title sequences for "Enemy of the State," "Lost Souls," and many others while at yu+co. Erik joined Blind in 2001 as an Editor and recently as an Art Director has overseen projects for NBC, ABC, MTV as well as various commercial and film clients.

VANESSA MARZAROLI
Before joining BL:ND, Vanessa Marzaroli was Creative Director at Fuel/Razorfish in Los Angeles. The highlight of her tenure there was an Emmy for the cutting-edge broadcast package she created for ESPN's Summer X-Games. At BL:ND, her recent commercial and network clients include Nissan, Infiniti, Showtime, WB, MTV, USA Networks and E! Networks. Other notable projects include the theatrical logo for Screen Gems, an innovative dealer's book for the Nissan 'Shift' campaign, and a main title sequence for Nissan's 'Master of the 6th Speed,' which won a Gold Award at the 2003 BDA Design competition. In addition to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Vanessa has received awards from the Type Directors Club, the Art Directors Club, and, the Broadcast Design Association. Born in Bangkok, Vanessa spent the first half of her life in Thailand. She has a BFA from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.

TOM KOH
Newly appointed Creative Director Thomas Koh studied traditional graphic design at CSUN. He spent two years as a print designer before attending Pasadena's Art Center where he received a BFA in Graphic Design & New Media. With a strong focus in digital media, Tom has worked in the design field, creating motion graphic sequences for film, television & interactive media. Tom has created some of the companys most notable work; including the main title sequence & interstitials for the film Dogtown & the Z-Boys, Riding Giants, the theatrical open for the Los Angeles Film Festival, and a series of fully animated spots for Hasbros MAGS, which were honored at the 2002 Broadcast Design Awards. Recent projects include The Next Episode show open, 'Nike: Rocketman' :15 and'Fameless' show open for Vh1.
