As Blind’s own “Jack of all Trades”, Lin has handled all aspects of post production at blind since 2004, as well as serving as an invaluable member of the production team. Doing color correction and finishing in Flame, style frames in Photoshop, cutting in any editing package, animating in AE, keying and comping in Nuke, tracking in Boujou, and recording VO, is all in a day’s work. He’ll even roto if you ask nicely.
Lin graduated from Otis College of Art & Design in 2003 with a BFA in Digital Media. He freelanced as an animator for a short period of time before being brought on-board as a full-time member of the Blind team. In addition to his duties at Blind he also joined the faculty at College of the Canyons in Valencia, CA in 2010 as an adjunct instructor teaching motion design.
Lin is also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (The Emmy’s) in the Title Design group.
Away from the computer Lin plays a mean game of foosball, is pretty good at ping pong, and downright terrible at 1st person shooters. In high school he worked at Magic Mountain carving wood signs, so it’s possible that he carved the sign on your porch.
