Blind Gets Urban With Bear
Let’s be honest…. we’ve got a crush on Bear Grylls. We’ve been harboring these feelings for some time now, with no healthy avenue for the hero-worship we feel in our hearts. We tune in to “Man vs. Wild” religiously, watching Bear defy death and steal another little piece of our hearts in a single bound. Well now Bear is going urban, and we say it’s about time.
In what we hope will be the first of many collaborations with our new friends at The Discovery Network, Vanessa led the team in bringing the best-selling cult favorite “Worst-Case Scenario” to life in a new promo package. Blind’s illustrators accentuated the action-packed moments of the spot, infusing them with plenty of fun, as Bear demonstrates escape techniques from dire urban scenarios.

As promo producer/editor of promo for over 14 years, I’ve pretty much seen it all but this promo is something new and really takes it to the next level. This is a perfect marriage of video, graphic design, and branding. Congratulations to the creators for a job well done. This really deserves a Promax Gold for 2011.
