What do you want your numbers to add up to?
You’re in the market. But what do you want your numbers to add up to?
Blind breathes life into the financial pages, navigating investors through uncertain terrain in a new campaign for OppenheimerFunds, out of Euro RSCG, New York. The Blind team produced, designed, directed and edited the integrated campaign that includes three spots, “Escalator,” “Balloon,” and “Train,” as well as print, web banners and a micro-site. The inventive, VFX-heavy spots feature investors thoughtfully navigating a world plucked right from the earnings pages of The Wall Street Journal: stock ticker-covered trains, pie chart-shaped balloons and jagged, graphical peaks; symbolically illustrating how OppenheimerFunds brings clarity to daunting financial landscapes.
Blind’s goal was to show that financial data in the hands of OppenheimerFunds isn’t simply a collection of nebulous numbers on a grid or pie chart, but a concrete way to achieve your financial dreams. Blind was tasked by Euro RSCG to help pose the question “What do you want your numbers to add up to?” and did so over a span of five months with their team of live-action, animation, editorial and VFX experts lead by Creative Director/Director Erik Buth and Art Director Lauren Indovina.
“The team did a great job,” Says Erik, maintaining a sense of dimension and space while applying a moving typographical treatment to the talent so they could live and breath in our 3D environment. While this may sound simple, the task of maintaining a sense of personality and a fidelity in the actors’ performances was uniquely challenging.”

Wow…this is awesome. I love the numbers and the escalators turning into a line graph. I am a motion graphics student and this stuff is inspirational and motivating.
